The Disappearance of Mark S.
Our schoolmate
Mark S.
disappeared
the Beast had kidnapped him
to make him her servant
So abruptly did he vanish from our lives
our street our town
our ours we us
he was no more
After some time there arrived
the terrifying news
that he worked very hard
and could no longer drink beer
Later on, there came a mysterious cipher
full of exotic words
such as fak and wery łel
and a package containing
pinatbater and chewing gum
By and by, Mark changed
into a plaster statue
before which men take off their hats
and women decorate with flowers,
later to bring before it
their wailing supplications
